Just got an update that despite Italy being one of the most disfuntional countries ever, our computer has arrived in the States.
Not sure if the relief is as palpable to you as it is to us, but after a three mile walk to the ONE post office in Italy that doesn't close at 2:00pm(!!), another 1.5 hours of shipping paperwork and packing and then not even knowing if Italy had the wherewithall to get it to Seattle, it happened. A miracle.
So we're in the home stretch and then I have I lot to catch up on -- Avignon, Nice, Cinque Terre, Florence, and our current home - Rome.

I find it ironic that it's the US post office that has delayed your computer for a day. Their international shipping website was down Monday. It was shipped today-Tuesday so expect to see it on Friday-I hope! Doug
